1st Annual Gaming Decathlon!

This may be cheating, but I've got a busy week ahead and did not want to miss posting about the 1st Annual Jolley Family Gaming Decathlon! So, since Harmony did such a great post on her blog, you can just visit her site here to learn about all the fun we had!

Oh, and just to add a little, Spencer ended up as the Decathlon Champion! We had a great time hosting our first big get-together at our new house and can't wait for the next party!

What a fun idea. I really miss having family close. What games did you include? I love the idea I may have to copy it.

We had a bunch of different board games--Apples to Apples, Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuit type games, Quiddler (like Scrabble but with cards instead of tiles), Ticket to Ride, Ingenious (a puzzle type game), Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and more.

We ended up with 10 total games to choose from, and everyone picked their top 6 of the 10 to play. Points were awarded for 1st and 2nd place, and the person with the most points at the end was the winner!
