We just got back from a four day camping trip in the high Uintas. Our good friends, Greg and Laurie, go there every year with Greg's extended family. We are lucky enough to tag along!
For those of you who are familiar with the area, we drove up the Mirror Lake highway to Elizabeth Ridge, and then an hour driving on a very bumpy dirt road to the camp site.
We had a lot of fun in the cool mountain air! Spencer spent a few hours fishing and caught 18 fish! Of course, we only kept a couple.
I spent a lot of my time taking pictures. Here is a link to my photobucket page, where you can see more Uinta camping fun!
Ta-Da! Well, what do you know? We have officially set up a blog. Summer vacation is in full swing, and I have a lot of time on my hands. I don't know how frequently we'll be able to post, but at least we've made a start! For this first post I'm going to keep things very simple. No pictures yet, but once this is posted I'll do another and add some pictures, hopefully! I did at least change the font a little.
Spencer and I have been married since 2004. We have lived in Murray, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, and now Pleasant Grove. We have one dog named Jack, three chickens, and our little boy Crew was born at our home in Pleasant Grove in May 2012. Spencer runs a chiropractic office in Orem and I get to stay home and be a mommy.
